Uzbekistan and France Bolster Science and Education Ties
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 9 April, the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Education Reform, Ilkhom Sirojev, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan, Walid Fouque.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the field of higher education, paying particular attention to the effective operation of the Uzbek-French University and the full utilization of its potential.
In addition, the meeting covered the implementation of joint projects in vocational education and the training of personnel with a practical focus. Special emphasis was placed on expanding scientific cooperation, implementing joint research projects, and developing academic exchange programs.
Following the meeting, priority tasks were identified to deepen cooperation in education and science, aimed at improving the quality of specialist training and developing research activities.
