Uzbekistan and France Agree to Intensify Bilateral Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 19 November, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrahimov held talks with Walid Fouque, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan.

The sides discussed priority areas of bilateral cooperation and plans for joint initiatives scheduled for 2026.

The French diplomat highly praised the organization of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, noting its high standard and expressing gratitude for the hospitality extended by the Uzbek side.

During the discussion, both parties emphasized the need to intensify efforts to implement agreements reached at the highest level, including strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, transport, and education, as well as further developing interregional ties.
