Uzbekistan and FIA Discuss Development of Motorsport and International Events in the Country

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of officials led by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov held a meeting with the President of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), Mohammed Ben Sulayem, during which prospects for bilateral cooperation in motorsport were discussed.

The parties reviewed initiatives to develop motorsport infrastructure, host international competitions, and create modern conditions for athletes.

It was particularly emphasized that Uzbekistan is successfully implementing major sports projects, and partnership with the FIA opens new opportunities for introducing advanced motorsport disciplines and strengthening the country’s position as a leading regional hub.

The dialogue also covered joint projects, professional development programs for specialists, and the organization of international tournaments aimed at further promoting motorsport and sports tourism in Uzbekistan.
