Uzbekistan and EU Discuss Expanding Investment and Financial Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 October 2025, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Shokhrukh Gulamov, met with EU Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, Toivo Klaar.

The discussions focused on prospects for joint projects involving European international financial institutions and government agencies, as well as the organizational aspects of preparing major bilateral events aimed at expanding practical cooperation.

Special attention was given to developing investment and financial interactions and exchanging expertise for launching new initiatives.

Both sides confirmed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue and collaborative work on projects that will create new opportunities to strengthen the partnership between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
