Uzbekistan and China Sign Cooperation Program Following Strategic Dialogue

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov and China’s Foreign Minister and Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Wang Yi held a session of the Strategic Dialogue, during which they discussed a wide range of bilateral issues.

The sides addressed political and economic cooperation, transport and infrastructure connectivity, cultural exchanges and the strengthening of people-to-people ties between the two nations.

Particular attention was given to regional and international issues, with both sides reaffirming their shared commitment to peace, stability and sustainable development.

Following the dialogue, the parties signed the Protocol of the Strategic Dialogue meeting and the Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and China. These documents will serve as a roadmap for further strengthening the all-weather strategic partnership in the coming years.
