Uzbekistan and China Discuss Joint Investments in Electrics

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 23 to 27 March, a delegation from the People’s Republic of China, led by Deputy General Director of C&D Emerging Energy Yan Jie, is visiting Uzbekistan.

On 24 March, a meeting took place at the “Uzeltekhsanoat” Association building between the association’s Chairman, Mirziyod Yunusov, and Yan Jie.

During the talks, both sides discussed the development of the electrical industry, including prospective investment projects for the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a material widely used in cable and wiring products.

Special attention was given to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, implementing advanced technologies, and increasing local production volumes.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to collaborate on implementing promising projects and to steadily develop further cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the electrical engineering sector.
