Uzbekistan and China Discuss Creation of Investment Alliance and Joint Ventures Support Center

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 8 October, Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Liu Yu, Chairman of the Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan.

The Association brings together more than 100 Chinese companies successfully operating in Uzbekistan in sectors such as construction, engineering, agriculture, energy, and telecommunications.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed initiatives to establish a Comprehensive Support Center for Uzbek-Chinese Joint Ventures, create a Center for Investment Attraction in Uzbekistan’s Industrial Parks, organize investment roadshows in China, and form a Uzbek-Chinese Investment Alliance.

It was noted that implementing these initiatives will expand industrial cooperation, attract new direct investments, and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies in production.
