Uzbekistan and China Discuss Cooperation in Charitable Medicine and Pharmaceuticals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, held a meeting with Du Jingli, a representative of the Chinese charitable organization Kindness Charity Fund.

During the discussion, both sides reviewed the activities of charitable and humanitarian organizations, the procedures for their establishment, and opportunities for the direct provision of medical services and equipment on a grant basis.

They also exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation for implementing socially significant projects in the fields of pharmaceuticals and medicine.

As a practical step toward building the partnership, an initiative was proposed to conduct a pilot supply of various medical equipment.
