Uzbekistan and China Construction Discuss Projects in the Pharmaceutical Sector
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with representatives of one of China’s largest companies, China Construction.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and ways to actively develop the pharmaceutical industry in Uzbekistan.
It was noted that the sector is under close government attention: modern production facilities are being established, and opportunities are being created for scientific research and the implementation of innovative technologies.
Representatives of China Construction outlined in detail their areas of activity, including construction and design work, attracting international investments, and the efficient operation of built facilities. They also expressed strong interest in the Uzbek market and their readiness to cooperate in the creation of pharmaceutical clusters, research centers, and industrial zones.
The negotiations were conducted in an open and constructive atmosphere. The parties agreed on further development of cooperation, the implementation of specific projects, and strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
