Uzbekistan and China Agree on Joint Pharmaceutical Research
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company Guoju Medical Technology.
During the discussion, the parties explored opportunities to further expand cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector within the framework of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
Special attention was given to the establishment of a new research institute within the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster, which will integrate Uzbek Eastern medicine with traditional Chinese medicine.
The parties agreed to implement joint scientific projects, conduct research in new areas of medicine and pharmaceuticals, and involve Uzbek specialists in professional development programs and experience exchanges in China.
The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between the scientific communities of Uzbekistan and China, as well as to promote the exchange of modern knowledge and advanced technologies in the pharmaceutical industry.
