Uzbekistan and Canada Discuss Expansion of Bilateral Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 November, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with Christopher Duggan, Ambassador of Canada to Uzbekistan.
During the talks, both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and identified priority areas for further development.
Special attention was given to investment, trade-economic, and financial cooperation. Opportunities for joint projects in green and renewable energy, information technology, transport and logistics infrastructure, water and agriculture, as well as mining and metallurgy, were discussed.
The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional contacts, improving coordination efficiency, and moving toward a more systematic model of cooperation. They noted that consistent development of bilateral contacts creates a solid foundation for implementing concrete practical initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants confirmed their mutual readiness to deepen partnership and expand cooperation across all discussed areas.
