According to the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan, the diplomats of two countries conducted a review of the state of Uzbek-British relations in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields with an emphasis on promising areas for further development of bilateral cooperation.

It was noted that large-scale reforms, being carried out in Uzbekistan, open new opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the two countries in all spheres of mutual interest.

At the meeting, practical aspects of upcoming visit of the governmental delegation of Uzbekistan to Great Britain were considered.

During the conversation, the sides also exchanged views on current international and regional problems.
