Uzbekistan and Brightman BMC Discuss Expanding Cooperation in Entrepreneurship and Investment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, a meeting was held between Alisher Shaikhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Afet Akhmadova, Director of Brightman BMC LLC.

Founded in 2013, Brightman BMC LLC specializes in processing food products and exporting them under the Zira Natural & Gourmet brand. Since 2017, the company’s products have been successfully supplied to markets in Europe, the United States, and Japan.

During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for expanding cooperation in entrepreneurship, investment, and trade. Afet Akhmadova expressed the company’s readiness to develop partnerships in Uzbekistan on a franchising basis, leveraging its successful experience in entering international markets. According to her, this approach will help implement modern business practices, create new jobs—especially for women in rural areas—and integrate local entrepreneurs into global value chains.

In turn, Alisher Shaikhov emphasized that the Chamber places special focus on fostering international cooperation and supporting innovative business models that promote sustainable growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in long-term collaboration, noting that the agreements reached would provide a solid foundation for effective partnership in the future.
