Uzbekistan and Belarus Strengthen Investment Cooperation: Agreement Signed Between Brest SEZ and Investment Agency

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 February 2026, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov, together with Vadim Kravchuk, head of the Brest Free Economic Zone Administration, held a meeting with Roxana Nesor, Deputy Director of the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investments under the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for further expanding investment cooperation, including the possibility of establishing production of road marking materials by the STiM Group of Companies at one of the sites in Uzbekistan’s free economic zones.

Following the meeting, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Brest SEZ Administration and the Uzbek Investment Agency.

The agreement aims to develop direct business links, expand information exchange, and create favorable conditions for implementing joint investment projects between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
