Uzbekistan and Belarus Sign Contracts Worth Nearly US$110 Million During Official Visit of Belarusian Delegation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Contracts totaling nearly US$110 million were signed during the official visit of the Belarusian government delegation to Uzbekistan, the Government of Belarus has announced.
Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin arrived in Uzbekistan on 23 February 2026, concluding his visit the following day.
During the trip, the delegation visited enterprises in Samarkand and Tashkent and held talks with the country's officials and business representatives.
One of the key events of the visit was the fifth meeting of the Uzbek-Belarusian Business Council in Tashkent, where discussions covered the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, the implementation of joint investment projects, and the deepening of industrial cooperation.
