Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Belarus held a meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on bilateral cooperation in Tashkent.
The event was attended by heads of ministries and departments, companies and concerns of the two countries responsible for such areas as foreign economic relations, trade, industry, investment, banking and finance, agriculture and water management, food industry, tourism, pharmaceuticals, health and electrical engineering.
The delegations of Uzbekistan and Belarus discussed topical issues of development of cooperation in trade and economic, tourist, cultural and humanitarian and a number of other spheres.
Representatives of the two countries approved a plan of measures to further strengthen relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus for 2019-2020.
The Belarusian delegation visited the Tashkent plant of agricultural machinery and got acquainted with the industrial goods produced in our country.
