Uzbekistan and Belarus are increasing cooperation in the textile industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 July, the Association "Uztextileprom" hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Republic of Belarus headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Bubenchik Elena with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich, as well as business representatives.

The management of the Association presented a presentation on the current potential and recent economic indicators of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the textile and garment and knitwear industry.

In turn, the foreign side acquainted those present with developments of know-how in dyeing technology. In particular, the company Conte Spa, which has achieved tremendous success in this direction in recent years, offered its assistance to Uzbek manufacturers through the introduction of its technologies and personnel training. This method can allow to implement the process of dyeing much faster, more efficiently, cheaper and more environmentally friendly.

Following the meeting, the parties also discussed the planned joint projects in the textile and garment and knitwear industry that are being planned for implementation and being implemented.

At the end of the meeting, the guests were invited to take part in the Global Textile Days Tashkent 2019 held from 10 to 14 September 2019 in Tashkent.
