Uzbekistan and Bavaria Discuss Expanding Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 April, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloyev, held a meeting with the Bavarian State Minister for European and International Affairs, Eric Beisswenger.
During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of Uzbek-German relations. Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The sides emphasized the importance of taking practical measures to increase the volume of mutual trade and expand investment interaction.
Bavarian State Minister Eric Beisswenger spoke highly of the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at modernizing the economy and improving the investment climate. He also noted the country's growing international prestige and its strengthening role as a reliable partner on the global stage.
