Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an official visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Minister of Finance and National Economy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat).

The sides discussed the current state of financial and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bahrain, as well as potential areas for its further development.

Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa emphasized the long-standing ties between the two countries and their shared commitment to expanding engagement to achieve mutual interests.

Additionally, the meeting addressed current issues of mutual interest, as well as recent trends in the global economy and their impact on the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
