Uzbekistan and Austria discuss development of trade and economic relations
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of the Uzbek-Austrian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation was held in Tashkent on 9 April.
The Uzbek-Austrian business forum of business people was also held at the meeting of the commission.
The meeting of the intergovernmental commission was attended by heads of responsible ministries and departments, companies working in the economic, commercial, industrial, investment, scientific and educational spheres, in agriculture and water management, energy, light and chemical industries.
The sides discussed issues of increasing the volume of mutual trade and expanding trade, economic, scientific, technical, investment cooperation.
Uzbekistan and Austria have agreed to implement projects for the construction of plants for the production of metal structures, metal galvanizing, modern greenhouses for the cultivation of melon crops.
During the business forum, the business circles of Uzbekistan and Austria got acquainted with the ongoing reforms in our country to improve the investment environment and liberalize the economy.
The business circles of the two countries discussed the implementation of joint investment projects in various sectors of the economy.
The forum between business people of the two countries organized meetings in B2B format.
