Uzbekistan and Armenia Discuss Further Strengthening Tourism Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the 26th session of the United Nations World Tourism Organization General Assembly held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev met with Armenia’s Tourism Committee Chairperson Lusine Gevorgyan.

The parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation and increasing tourist flows between the two countries.

The conversation included an exchange of views on mutual experience sharing, development of tourism destinations, and implementation of joint projects and initiatives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides noted that all conditions exist for further strengthening partnership in the tourism sector and expanding reciprocal travel between Uzbekistan and Armenia.
