Uzbekistan and Andorra Agree to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 November, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahromjon Aloyev, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra, Imma Tor Faus.
During the talks, the sides discussed prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries in political, trade and economic, tourism, environmental, and innovation spheres.
The head of Andorra’s foreign ministry highly praised the organization of the 43rd UNESCO General Conference held in Samarkand, noting that it was the result of the foresighted policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev aimed at strengthening international cultural dialogue, and advancing science and education.
Following the meeting, both parties confirmed their mutual readiness to further strengthen the trusting and friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Andorra.
