Uzbekistan and Afghanistan are planning to sign package of documents

Tolonews edition said that President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani will soon visit Uzbekistan.

According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Afghanistan, within the framework of Ashraf Ghani’s visit, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan will sign 16 memorandums of understanding.

The parties also plan to sign a memorandum of understanding on construction of a railway line from Mazar-e-Sharif to Herat.

Sayam Pasarlay, spokesman for the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) said, that the documents are aimed at resolving existing problems in the field of transit and expanding trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
