Uzbekistan amputees team to participate in World Cup
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan national team on football among amputees will participate in the World Cup, which will be held in Mexico from 30 November to 8 December 2014, the Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) said.
The tournament will be held in Culiacan. Mavzur Umarkhodjaev’s side will face Brazil, Ireland and Ukraine in the group stage.
Uzbekistan will face Ukraine on 30 November, Ireland on 1 December 2014 and Brazil on 2 December 2014.
It is worth to mention that Uzbekistan is defending world champions.
