Uzbekistan Airways transports 563,100 passengers in 1Q

According to the airline, it conducted 5,211 flights in the reporting period, which grew by 204 flights year-on-year.

Load of passenger seats made up 75.01% and commercial load 54.69% in the reporting period.

Uzbekistan Airways increased cargo transportation by 24.3% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2017. Overall, the airline transported 11,100 tonnes of freight in the reporting period, including luggage and correspondence.

Through the Navoi airport, 8,900 tonnes were transported, which is 15% more than compared to the firest quarter 2016.

Cargo planes of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari carried out 274 freight flights - 81 flights more and transported 6,900 tonnes of cargo - 33.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
