Uzbekistan Airways transfers flights to Moscow to Vnukovo Airport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) launched flights from Vnukovo International Airport on 28 October.

The first board of Uzbekistan Airways was greeted with a traditional arch of water.

 “Today we are pleased to welcome the new partner of Vnukovo International Airport – Uzbekistan Airways! We are proud that the national carrier of Uzbekistan chose us to implement its flight program, because Vnukovo today is the most convenient airport in Moscow. In the new season, Uzbek company will fly from Vnukovo to 8 destinations, opening up additional opportunities for residents of Russia to travel to the cities of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” Dmitry Saprykin, official of Vnukovo, said.

Uzbekistan Airways’ official Umid Husanov said: “Uzbekistan-Russia is one of the most popular and strategically important not only for Uzbekistan Airways, but also for the whole of Uzbekistan. These flights provide an additional impetus to the development and strengthening of both business and tourist connections. Over the past 9 months of 2018, the Uzbek Airlines carried out about 3,000 flights between Uzbekistan and Moscow and transported more than 0.5 million passengers. ”

From the Vnukovo International Airport, during the autumn-winter navigation period, Uzbekistan Airways will fly to Tashkent, Samarkand, Namangan, Termez, Bukhara, Ferghana, Urgench, Nukus and Navoi on comfortable Boeing-757-200, Boeing- 767-300 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
