Uzbekistan Airways to conduct 24 flights within Hajj-2014 programme

The first 499 pilgrims from Saudi Arabia left Uzbekistan for Saudi Arabia on 15 September 2014. From 15 September to 20 October, the airline plans to carry out 24 flights to Medina and vice-versa, including flights from regional centers of Ferghana, Andijan, Samarkand, Termez, Karshi, Bukhara and Urgench.

Overall, it is planned to transport 5,190 passengers. All flights will be conducted with Boeing 757/767 airplanes, the airline said.

The airline said it created special working groups to organize services for pilgrims. The airline also created special menu for the passengers.
