Uzbekistan Airways Technics masters a new type of maintenance

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the first time, specialists of the Aircraft Technical Maintenance Center of Uzbekistan Airways Technics (UAT) performed a new type of technical maintenance for replacing the landing gear of the Airbus A320 aircraft of Uzbekistan Airways.

Repair work carried out on time and with high quality. Such a unique technical operation on aircraft of this type is carried out once every ten years. The mastered technical process can significantly reduce the time of aircraft maintenance and helps the air carrier to quickly return them to operation.

Until the end of this year, Uzbekistan Airways Technics plans to replace chassis racks on several more Airbus A320 and Boeing 757 aircraft of Uzbekistan Airways. For the first time, this complex form of maintenance on the Boeing 757 was mastered in January 2009.

It should be noted that the certificates of the State Air Inspectorate of the Republic of Uzbekistan and international aviation authorities enable specialists of the airline to carry out this type of maintenance on aircraft of other airlines.
