Uzbekistan Airways Shifts Tashkent–Beijing Flights to Daxing Airport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airways, the national carrier, has transferred its Tashkent–Beijing route to Beijing Daxing International Airport, discontinuing operations at the capital’s Shoudu Airport, according to China’s Xinhua News Agency.

The first flight to arrive at the new hub was HY505, which successfully landed on Tuesday morning. With this addition, Uzbekistan Airways became the 72nd airline operating through Daxing Airport.

Under the updated schedule, the airline will operate four direct weekly flights between Tashkent and Beijing using wide-body Boeing aircraft.

Uzbekistan Airways has maintained regular air service between the capitals of Uzbekistan and China since 1993. Over more than three decades, this route has served as a vital air bridge, promoting bilateral contacts, trade, economic cooperation, and cultural exchanges.

The move to Daxing International Airport marks a new phase in the development of Uzbekistan Airways’ operations in the Chinese market.

Amid sustained growth in passenger and cargo demand between Uzbekistan and China, the Daxing Airport administration has expressed readiness to further expand cooperation with Uzbekistan Airways, ensuring safe, efficient, and convenient air connectivity between the two countries.
