Uzbekistan Airways’ flight from Istanbul to Tashkent postponed due to plane problems

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 November, a plane Boing 767 of Uzbekistan Airways could carried out flight from Istanbul (Turkey) to Tashkent.

A careful examination of the aircraft revealed damage to two fan blades of the stage, the cause of which was the entry of a bird into the engine.

Equipment and spare parts for repairing a damaged aircraft will be sent from Tashkent to Istanbul on an evening flight, after receiving which the aircraft will be put into operation as soon as possible.

Currently, the flight following the route Istanbul-Tashkent HY272 is delayed until the aircraft malfunction has been completely eliminated. Passengers of the flight were placed to hotels.
