Uzbekistan Airways carries out preparations to receive Boeing-787 Dreamliner

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Specialists of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) are in Seattle (USA) to undergo education on Boeing-787 Dreamliner, Deputy Director-General of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari Gennadiy Harlap said in an article “Narodnoye Slovo”.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will receive two Boeing-787 Dreamliner airplanes in 2016. Representative of the airline said that the company is actively holding preparations to use new airplanes in all directions.

Harlap said that the specialists were selected on competitive bases and they are professionals of the highest level.

The airline is conducting selection of pilots for training, which will be held in March. The parking places for Dreamliners are prepared at Tashkent Airport.

Uzbekistan Airways Technics in cooperation with Boeing created the regional center for repairing and maintaining airplanes from composite materials.
