Uzbekistan Airways, Belavia sign code-sharing agreement

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) and Belavia (Belarus) signed an agreement on joint exploitation of the flight (code-sharing), the press service of the Uzbek airline said.

The agreement will provide additional opportunities for passengers of two airlines to travel on attractive prices and use linking flights from Minsk to Europe and CIS states and from Tashkent to Central and Eastern Asia.

Within the agreement, Belavia will place its marketing code on flights Tashkent - Minsk - Tashkent, run by the Uzbek airline.

The two sides started to carry out joint flights between capitals of Uzbekistan and Belarus from 15 September 2016.
