Uzbekistan Airways and Uzbekistan Airports are established on the basis of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 28 November, a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at Uzbekistan Airways, where it was announced that the Presidential Decree "On measures to drastically improve civil aviation Uzbekistan.

This Decree envisages a radical improvement of the aviation industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the document, Uzbekistan Airways and Uzbekistan Airports are established on the basis of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari.

It was also decided to convert the state unitary enterprises of the airline into limited liability companies.

The President ordered to create Uzbekistan Helicopters on the basis of the State Unitary Enterprise “Airline of Special Aviation Works”.

The Center "Uzavianavigation" is transferred to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The decree also stipulates strengthening of the state regulation and creating a competitive environment by:

- the transfer to Gosavianadzor (State Aviation Supervision) of the authority to issue permits for one-time flights and the construction of facilities near airfields;

- improving the structure and increasing the staffing level of Gosavianadzor;

- creation of a special Fund the development of Gosavianadzor.
