Uzbekistan Airways and Air India Expand International Flights
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airways and Air India have signed a codeshare agreement aimed at expanding travel options for passengers and strengthening international aviation cooperation.
From 12 March 2026, tickets for Tashkent–Delhi, Tashkent–Mumbai, and Tashkent–Goa (seasonal) routes have been available under the codeshare program.
The partnership is designed to extend the route networks of both airlines and enhance air connectivity between Uzbekistan and India. The agreement provides passengers with additional transfer options through key Indian aviation hubs, ensuring convenient access to domestic and international Uzbekistan Airways flights.
The codeshare allows travelers to purchase a single ticket for the listed routes, simplifying travel planning and improving accessibility for both airlines’ networks.
The Chairman of Uzbekistan Airways noted that the agreement marks a new chapter in aviation cooperation with India and creates additional opportunities for passengers, expressing gratitude to partners for their trust and constructive collaboration.
Air India’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nipun Aggarwal, emphasized that the partnership expands the airline’s flight network and strengthens connections between India and Central Asia. He added that Tashkent is increasingly becoming an important destination for tourism, business travel, and cultural exchange.
