Uzbekistan Aims to Produce Up to One Million Passenger Cars by 2030
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan plans to increase passenger car production to one million units by 2030.
These targets are set out in the updated “Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy, which has been presented for public discussion on the SOVAZ platform.
According to the document, domestic manufacturers plan to produce 460,000 cars in 2026, with production rising to 550,000 units in 2027.
Car production is expected to reach 700,000 units in 2028 and 800,000 in 2029.
By 2030, Uzbekistan anticipates producing around one million passenger cars, aligning with the key goals of the strategy.
From January to November 2025, Uzbek manufacturers produced 419,338 passenger cars, an 8.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024, when 385,101 vehicles were produced.
