Uzbekistan abolishes issuing certificates of registration of rights for real estate
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will abolish issuing certificates of registration of rights to real estate from 1 October 2018.
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On measures to further improve the system of protection of rights and legitimate interests of business entities”.
The President agreed with the proposal to cancel issuing of a certificate of registration of the right to immovable property (land, buildings and structures, perennial plantations) from 1 October 2018 with introduction of procedure for making an appropriate entry in the state register of rights to real estate and transactions with them in electronic form .
From 1 October, Uzbek leader established a new order, according to which the State Cadaster Committee will include data on right of ownership and other proprietary rights to immovable property, transfer and limitation of rights, as well as their termination to information system within a day from fulfillment of necessary actions.
Territorial bodies of the State Cadaster Committee will carry out state registration of the relevant rights to immovable property. Territorial bodies of the committee will issue information on rights on property on request of state bodies and other organizations in electronic or paper forms.
Uzbek President instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to revise the procedure for state registration of rights to real estate and transactions with them within two months.
