Uzbekhydroenergo - Power Machines: a new stage of cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Today, under the leadership of the chairman of the board of JSC Uzbekhydroenergo Abdugani Sanginov, the working group of the joint-stock company held talks with a delegation of Power Machines PJSC (Russian Federation) headed by its Director General Timur Lipatov.

In recent years, cooperation between Uzbekhydroenergo JSC and Power Machines PJSC has reached a new level of partnership development in the field of joint implementation of investment projects on the basis of mutual trust.

In particular, a project for the modernization of the Farhad Hydroelectric Power Station is being implemented jointly with the company, the completion of which is planned for 2021.

In 2020, it is planned to absorb US$28.3 million by supplying modern technological equipment and carrying out construction and installation works.

Starting from 2020, the execution of an additional 4 new contracts for the construction and modernization of hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 275 MW with a cost of 138.4 million euros begins, which significantly expands the front and increases the volume of work.

New jointly implemented projects include the construction of such investment projects as “Construction of SHPPs on the Sardoba Reservoir”, “Construction of SHPPs at picket 102 + 00 on the Dargom Canal and construction of SHPPs Bogishamol on the Dargom Canal”, “Construction of the Nizhnechatkalskoye Hydropower Plant on the Chatkal River ”, as well as“ Modernization of the Tupalang hydroelectric station ”.

All projects, as strategic, are included in state investment programs.

For all projects, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on approving the feasibility study of projects have been adopted.

The commissioning of the Sardoba HPP (10.7 MW) is planned for July 2021, the SHPP at the picket 102 + 00 (6.4 MW) of the Dargom Canal and the Bagishamalskaya SHPP at the Dargom Canal (6.45 MW) in August 2021, of the Nizhnechatkalskaya HPP (76 MW) in December 2022, Tupalang hydroelectric station (175 MW) in December 2021.

To organize the coordinated work of JSC Uzbekhydroenergo, the employees responsible for each project were identified.

Power Machines was also invited to create working groups for the implementation of each project and the design of its personnel. Uzbekhydroenergo JSC and Power Machines PJSC agreed on the development of an accelerated schedule for the implementation of joint projects.
