Uzbekenergo sums up results of 9 months

The company said that it fulfilled tasks on decreasing prime cost of the produced goods. In nine months of 2014, the prime cost fell by 0.9%, the company said.

In nine months of 2014, the enterprises of Uzbekenergo increased production of goods by 0.4% year-on-year. The company said that it supplied electricity to consumers for 32.9 billion KWH and 5.7 million Gcal of heating energy.

The company also provided services on maintenance of electricity networks, designing and construction works.

Uzbekenergo implements investment programmes. The company currently implements 28 large investment projects, of which six will be commissioned in 2014.

The company recalled that Quyosh Issiqlik Energiyasi was commissioned in special industrial zone Jizzakh, which will produce solar water heating systems (collectors).

The general construction works are underway within the project “Expansion of Talimarjan thermal power station with construction of two combined-cycle plants with the capacity of 450 megawatt each”. Foundation pit for power equipment was prepared.

The company said that part of gas turbine equipment, gas turbine generators and additional equipment were supplied within the project “Construction of combined-cycle plant at Tashkent Thermal Power Station with the capacity of 370 megawatt”. In October, it is planned that main equipments of combined-cycle plant will be delivered to the station.

A tender on selection of consultant on tracking the project “Construction of two combined-cycle plants with the capacity of 230-250 megawatt at Takhiatash Thermal Power Station” was held. The negotiations completed talks with the winners of the tender.

For the project "Construction on the Angren TPP power unit of 130-150 MW district heating selection for burning high-ash coal" general contractor contracts with suppliers for the manufacture and supply of 150 MW generator, steam turbine and boiler. Delivery of the equipment is scheduled for the 4th quarter.

The contract with the general contractor on production and supply of generators with the capacity of 150 megawatt, steam turbine and boiler was signed within the project “Construction of power unit with the capacity 130-150 with heating selection for burning high-ash coal”. The equipment will be supplied in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Within the framework of the project “Construction of external power supply traction substations within construction electrified railway line Angren-Pap”, it is planned to construct three three power supply traction power substations. Currently, the construction of 220 kV and 110 kV high voltage lines is underway.

The high voltage lines with the length of 697.5 km were constructed within measures on modernization of network of 0.4-6-10-35 kV. Some 629 sets of transformer substations were installed.

Jizzakh PTES and Owell created a joint venture YORQIN CHIROQLAR to implement the project “Organization of production of energy-efficient LED lamps at the territory of special industrial zone “Jizzakh”. Currently, the premises are repaired to create capacities on production of LED lamps, including production shop, administrative and other premises. In November, it is expected that foreign partner will deliver equipment for production line.

The company continues to implement modern electronic electricity meters. Some 237,763 units of three-phase and 138,704 units of one-phase electronic electricity meters were installed at the legal entities.

The company said that it spend 3.6 billion soums to implement projects within the programme “The Year of Healthy Children” in nine months of 2014.
