Uzbekenergo starts work on introduction of ACSEM in Yunusabad district of Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekenergo started to introduce an automated control system and electricity metering (ACSEM) in Yunusabad district of Tashkent city.

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 23 October  2018 “On measures to accelerate development and ensure the financial sustainability of the electricity industry”, it is planned to connect to 7 million consumers to the ACSEM.

By the end of 2021, it is planned to cover all 100% of consumers to the ACSEM.

On the part of Uzbekenergo, work has begun at an accelerated pace to introduce an automated system for metering and controlling electrical energy in the Yunusabad district of the city of Tashkent. Electric energy meters are replaced by Uzbekenergo for free of charge.

Today, there are misunderstandings on the part of the residents of the area, and dissatisfaction with the installation of metering devices without the presence of the homeowner.

Taking this into account, the company strongly urges all consumers of the Yunusabad district to be present in their apartments from 8:00 to 18:00, as well as to record / photograph the readings of the replaced electric energy meters.

When taking readings, at the time of replacing electricity meters, there must be a consumer or customer trustee, an employee of the power supply company and an employee of the Bureau of Compulsory Execution. The subsequent scorecard will be formed based on the readings of the replaced metering devices.
