Uzbek universities to introduce a three-year undergraduate programmes
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Starting from the 2018-2019 academic year, higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan will begin to introduce undergraduate programmes with a minimum of three years of study and graduate programmes with a minimum of one year of study in certain areas of education.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution "On additional measures to improve the quality of education in higher educational institutions and ensure their active participation in the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country."
The document said that at the same time, universities will organize the training of specialists in the graduate program on the basis of specialized programs on production (practical) (at least one year) and scientific-pedagogical (at least two years) courses.
