Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Moscow hosts the Federal Wholesale Fair of Goods and Equipment for Light Industry “Textillegprom 2019”.

It should be noted that this fair is the largest specialized event in the field of textile and light industry in the CIS. The fair is held twice a year with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the Russian Union of Commodity Producers.

This year, over two thousand manufacturers and suppliers of finished products, raw materials, semi-finished products, components, accessories, equipment of companies from about 30 countries gathered on the exposition area.

The complex exposition of the current fair presented to the wide audience the most complete offer of the industry market and related industries, including raw materials, equipment and finished products of various groups of goods and price segments. It is here that key market companies, collective expositions of Russian regions and foreign partners, permanent and new participants are demonstrated. Sales representatives can choose the finished products of several product groups at once, and production specialists - raw materials, equipment, components, accessories, and directly conclude contracts with exhibitors for the supply of products.

Thanks to the consistent measures taken in Uzbekistan to fully support entrepreneurship, domestic producers are turning their eyes to foreign markets, including Russia. Therefore, it is not surprising that representatives of our country took an active part in Tekstillegprom 2019: about 40 firms and companies that are part of the Uztekstilprom Association organized a national stand, which, in terms of size and range of products presented, outperformed many competitors.

Akmal Yusupov, Commercial Director of Asasia Textile LLC, notes that participation in the exhibition will familiarize foreign buyers with the industrial potential of Uzbekistan and find new markets for promoting domestic goods.

“We brought knitted goods and ready-made clothes to the exhibition, which compares favorably with competitors in their naturalness, durability and optimal price,” A. Yusupov said. - To date, a contract has been signed with the Russian company Gloria Jeans worth over $ 5 million for the export of our products. And with the company "NL Group" agreed on the supply of our goods in the amount of $ 1 million.

According to the founder of Tantex Group, Nodirbek Khoshimov, Russian firms and companies express a high interest in Uzbek yarn and finished clothes, which have long been at the forefront due to their attractive characteristics.

- We work closely with partners from the Ivanovo region, and today we have established business contacts with Belarusian businessmen. Our plans are to organize the supply of Uzbek products to various cities of Russia and Belarus, the entrepreneur said.

The Uzbek pavilion demonstrates a wide range of textile and light industry products: cotton yarn, knitted and terry cloth, finished fabrics, clothing for children and adults, hosiery. Presentation of the trade and economic potential of Uzbekistan and a series of business negotiations in the B2B format were held.
