Uzbek textile industry to realize 32 investment projects

In 2013, the industry implemented 31 projects with the volume of investments for US$231.9 million. In the result, some 6,100 new jobs were created. Export potential of the industry rose by US$143 million.

Currently, Uzbekyengilsanoat unites 300 enterprises. The industry produced industrial goods for 2.144 trillion soums, which rose by 22.1% year-on-year and exported goods for US$827.3 million with the growth rate of 17.3%.
