Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan’s compatriots students from the National University of South Korea have visited the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.

More than 20 students of Chonnam National University, as part of the Career Camp in Uzbekistan Program, came to the State Tax Committee to familiarize themselves with the activities of our country’s tax service.

Attracting young promising cadres is a priority area of the youth policy of our country. STC is also actively attracting qualified specialists to the system. This is especially true for specialists who have studied abroad, have adopted best practices in other countries.

When visiting the Interregional State Tax Inspectorate for large taxpayers of the State Tax Committee, students from South Korea clearly became convinced that the tax service has changed its image today, especially with regard to communications with taxpayers and their maintenance.

The students were greatly delighted by the fact that the leadership expressed its readiness in cooperation and further employment of young specialists who studied abroad.

“Our understanding of the tax service has fundamentally changed after visiting the STC,” said Nozima Yuldasheva, a student at the Department of Economics at the Chonnam National University of South Korea. - Previously, tax officials were dressed in uniform and were representatives of the regulatory body. Now we see a customer-oriented service. Upon completion of training, we also want to contribute to the development of the tax service of our country.

Students also familiarized themselves with the activities of the tax service during a visit to the State Tax Inspectorate of Yashnabad District.

Young people were actively interested in reform issues in the tax system, in particular, the adoption of the new version of the Tax Code, its impact on the development of entrepreneurship in the country. Tax officers answered all questions of future specialists.

It is worth noting that in May last year, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National University of Jongnam and the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This agreement provides for internships by students of Jongnam National University and further employment with the State Tax Service.
