Uzbek Startups Detecting AI, BRB Tech, and Fleetroot Sign Partnership Memoranda with Omani Companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, together with the resident startups Detecting AI, BRB Tech, and Fleetroot, visited the Sultanate of Oman on a business trip, participating in the Comex Technology Show 2025 and holding dozens of meetings with leading Omani and international companies.

Following the visit, the parties signed memoranda of cooperation, agreed on opening new offices in Uzbekistan, launching pilot projects, and developing joint educational and acceleration initiatives.

Comex Technology Show 2025, held from 8 to 11 September in Muscat, is the largest technology exhibition in Oman. The event brought together government agencies, international corporations, startups, and investors, showcasing the latest solutions in digital governance, fintech, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, gaming, health-tech, and sustainable technologies. The exhibition serves as a key platform for the Vision 2040 strategy, aimed at transforming Oman into a regional hub for digital transformation.

Resident startups Detecting AI, BRB Tech, and Fleetroot presented their products in artificial intelligence, digital services, and logistics management. Fleetroot demonstrated delivery management and IoT solutions, attracting interest from several potential clients. The company held meetings with Omantel, was invited to participate in the Innovation Labs acceleration program, and discussed implementing IoT-FMS with Gulf Business Solutions for the region’s largest construction company. Fleetroot’s solutions also drew attention from logistics companies in Oman, including The Famous Line, as well as the Cypriot startup Metaxas, which operates one of the largest express delivery services.

Detecting AI debuted its solutions in Oman and received positive feedback from international participants and local universities, particularly regarding the application of its technologies in education. As a result, a collaboration was initiated with the Omani company M-Tech.ai, with a contract being prepared for the joint introduction of the product to the local market. Detecting AI’s platform detects content generated by artificial intelligence and serves over 250,000 users worldwide.

BRB Tech presented its “Credit Monitoring” and “Business 24/7” platforms to major Omani banks — Sohar International Bank, Ahli Bank, and Bank of Muscat — generating interest in integrating these solutions into the local financial system. The company also met with PhazeRo and Al Jabr to discuss product promotion and collaboration prospects, receiving offers for legal and organizational support for entering the Omani market, as well as an invitation to participate in the GITEX exhibition.

During the visit, IT Park representatives held discussions with leading players in Oman’s innovation ecosystem, including aljabr.co, Omantel Innovation Labs, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), Oman Startup Hub, Madaar, Phaze Ventures, Jasoor Ventures, Oman Investment Authority, Golden Gate Ventures, and INFINIA.

Discussions with Al Jabr focused on potential joint acceleration programs and mentorship initiatives to support Uzbek startups entering the Omani market. An agreement was reached to continue negotiations in Uzbekistan and for Al Jabr to participate in ICT Week. Omantel Innovation Labs expressed interest in cooperation with IT Park, including experience exchange and launching joint startup support programs.

During meetings with MTCIT, the delegation discussed prospects for startup exchanges between the countries, including organizing online webinars to assess entrepreneur interest in each market. At Oman Startup Hub, the delegation familiarized itself with a national platform that unites startups, accelerators, and investors, supporting over 160 startups and 47 partners.

Phaze Ventures showed interest in BRB Tech and confirmed participation in ICT Week, while the Oman Investment Authority noted particular interest in B2B startups and promising investment projects. Golden Gate Ventures expressed readiness to organize pitching sessions for Uzbek startups in AI, fintech, e-commerce, and biotech.

The delegation also met with IT outsourcing and export companies, including Gadoba, Novatelia, Oman Information Technology Society, Free Economic Zone of Oman, Cyber3S, Madayn, Knowledge Resources, and Al Muheet Institute. Gadoba announced plans to open an office in Uzbekistan, Novatelia — to create jobs and focus on exporting IT services, Cyber3S — to launch a medical application, and Madayn confirmed support for startups through its Softlanding program.

The IT Park delegation’s visit to Oman was an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation, presenting Uzbek IT solutions at Comex Technology Show 2025, and opening pathways for new international partnerships.

Agreements on opening offices, joint projects, and educational programs create opportunities for Uzbek companies to enter Gulf markets and strengthen Uzbekistan’s position as a rapidly growing IT hub in the region.
