Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek startup Mulk Protocol has been named the winner of the InBattle Startup Awards at the INMerge Innovation Summit 2025 held in Baku.

The platform, developed by Uzbek entrepreneurs, enables owners of real estate and businesses to tokenize assets in accordance with Sharia principles. The winning team received the grand prize of US$30,000.

Organized by PASHA Holding, the summit gathered over 5,000 participants, 150 speakers, 100 startups, and more than 80 venture funds from Central Eurasia. Over two days, the region’s largest innovation forum showcased how global ideas and local talent are shaping the future of technology, business, and investment.

The summit program covered eight key sectors, including fintech, sustainable banking, big data and artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, telecommunications, marketing, e-commerce, and investment.

International thought leaders such as Ed Catmull (Pixar), Marc Randolph (Netflix), Zak Kass (formerly OpenAI), Hal Gregersen (MIT), and Tarun Khanna (Harvard) participated, alongside regional policymakers, entrepreneurs, and investors, discussing trends reshaping national economies. During the opening ceremony, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov highlighted that US$344 billion in investments had been attracted to the country over the past two decades, with over US$210 billion directed to the non-energy sector. PASHA Holding CEO Jalal Gasimov described INMerge as the leading innovation forum in Central Eurasia, noting its evolution from a corporate event to a regional platform.

The first day focused on the role of education and innovation in national development, with Azerbaijani Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullaev and industry leaders emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, entrepreneurship, and curiosity in a rapidly changing world. The second day featured a masterclass by Marc Randolph on turning simple ideas into major successes.

Panel discussions explored the future of the venture market, rapid growth of artificial intelligence, the influence of marketing and social media on local markets, and the role of big data in the energy sector.
