Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed an agreement with Springer Nature to provide higher education institutions and scientific organizations of Uzbekistan from 1 January 2020 with the possibility of free use of Springer Nature electronic resources for one year.

This will increase the quality and quantity of Uzbek articles and books in rating magazines of Springer Nature company, increase the effectiveness of scientific research, as well as the educational process in higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

As is known from international experience, the effective use of research results increases the influx of public investment in science, improves the quality and effectiveness of research. This, in turn, helps to bring the status of science in the country to a new level. Also, in order to search for foreign partners and to attract investment in the framework of foreign grant competitions, the ministry provided the republic’s scientists with free access to Springer Nature’s electronic resources for one year.
