Uzbek, Russian customs bodies hold talks in Moscow

The first meeting of the heads of customs services of Uzbekistan and Russia was held within the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to Russia.

During the meeting, the sides considered perspective directions of bilateral customs cooperation, including exchange of experience on use of ICT, organization of internship of employees, training specialists, etc.

At the end of the meeting, the sides inked a protocol on interaction between Federal Customs Service of Russia and State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan on combating customs violations, related with movement of goods via air transport.
