Uzbek-Russian business forum takes place in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the visit of the delegation led by the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Business "Support of Russia" to Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-Russian business forum of business circles was held.

At the opening of the forum, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Islom Jasimov noted that Russia is a reliable partner of our country in the trade, economic and investment spheres, and thanks to regular dialogues of the heads of two states, strategic partnership has risen to a new level. It was emphasized that the agreements reached during the highest level visits create an opportunity for the further development of bilateral cooperation in all directions.

The event noted that Russian companies specializing in such areas as tourism and hotel industry, the production of building materials, agriculture, are ready to organize and develop their activities in Uzbekistan.

Borisov highly appreciated the State program “Every family is an entrepreneur” implemented in our country. He noted that he intends to closely familiarize himself with the work being done on this program and the accumulated national experience.

“This visit, aimed at enriching bilateral cooperation with new content, was organized on the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia,” said S. Borisov. - It should be noted that these aspirations of Uzbek diplomats to attract foreign investment in the economy of your country are an example for Russian diplomats.

At the event, presentations were made on the investment potential of Uzbekistan and the activities of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Business "Support of Russia".

“Our organization has been operating since 2003,” says Nikolai Dunayev, vice president of the Opora Russia All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Business. - It unites over 450 thousand business entities in the country, we have more than 100 industry associations and associations. Currently, our organization, along with the support of Russian businessmen in legal, investment issues, contributes to the successful implementation of business projects of youth and women. The current visit plays an important role due to the fact that it provided an opportunity to establish cooperation between representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the two countries and to organize activities to protect their interests.

Within the framework of the business forum, representatives of the business circles of the two countries organized meetings in the “B2B” format.
