Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Leading Romanian online publications, Bucuresti Business and Diplomatic Life, covered the outcomes of the Uzbek-Romanian business forum held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest (CCIB).

The reports emphasized the forum as a significant step in strengthening economic dialogue between the two countries, facilitating direct contacts between business communities. The President of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iuliu Stoclosu, noted the complementary nature of the Romanian and Uzbek economies and highlighted the potential for joint development in trade and services.

Special attention was given to Romania’s role as a “direct gateway” for Uzbek goods to the European Union market. Uzbek Ambassador Amirsayid Agzamkhodzhaev stressed that constructive dialogue represents the first step toward long-term business partnerships.

The media also informed the Romanian audience about ongoing economic reforms in Uzbekistan, the favorable investment climate, and the invitation for Romanian companies to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF) in June 2026.

Interactive networking sessions at the forum allowed participants to establish direct contacts to implement joint projects in industry, agriculture, and the IT sector.
