Uzbek President to pay an official visit to Kuwait
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the State of Kuwait on 17–18 February for an official visit at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During his stay in Kuwait City, the Uzbek leader is scheduled to hold high-level talks and meet with the country’s leadership, government officials, heads of major Kuwaiti companies, and representatives of financial institutions.
The discussions will focus on strengthening Uzbekistan-Kuwait relations and expanding multifaceted cooperation in key sectors, including trade, innovation, investment, finance, green energy, industrial collaboration, agriculture, transport and logistics, infrastructure development, urban planning, and healthcare. The two sides will also explore opportunities to deepen cultural and humanitarian ties and boost tourism. Additionally, international and regional cooperation will be on the agenda.
The visit is expected to result in the signing of several agreements and joint documents. Furthermore, direct flights between Tashkent and Kuwait City are planned to launch in 2025, enhancing bilateral cooperation and promoting tourism.
